so, yes, it’s been two months since our last post. i’m sorry.

i’m going to break the pictures up into two posts since there are so many pictures. the first one will be of our family visit/vacation in July. For those of you reading this who may not know, Rick’s family — parents, sister/brother-in-law/our neice and nephew — all came to St. Louis to stay for a few days. It was so nice getting to spend some time with all of you since we live so far apart and especially to see Stephen, who was just born in May! anyhoo, on to the pictures….

Renee, Anthony, Nadia and Stephen all stayed in a hotel not far from our house — a hotel that had a pool! so, needless to say, we took advantage of it. Read the rest of this entry »

..too long, i know. and we don’t have a hundred or so pictures like we usually do after a long absence like this, but we have three videos that i hope will make up for it.

we’re working on getting the quality better on the video and trying to figure out how to get rid of the display stuff that shows up in the corners. so, it’s a work in progress.

but, pictures first.

the first couple are of shiloh one day preparing to go swimming. we had the swimming pool up but there wasn’t a whole lot of water in it yet. however, she dug through her drawers, found her bathing suit and carried it around with her all day long. she even packed it in one of her play purses and took it with her to a chiropractic appointment she had that afternoon. here, she randomly jumped up into my bed with her bathing suit and orange blanket, said she was tired and laid down. i laughed, then she laughed, then i ran and got the camera. okay, so Nana and Mamaw Leah (and Aunt Mimi!) are probably wondering why they didn’t get anything in the mail from us this year. well…. this is why — we finally decided to invest in the hardware that we’ve needed to pull our videos off of our camcorder and onto our computer, letting us post videos!

i know it’s not exactly what you might expect, but it’s a present to you guys! the only time we can ever see ourselves using it is to post videos for family on this blog. so, we hope you guys don’t mind!
